Building the Infrastructure for Excellence in Independent Education
ARISE Education Network exists to strengthen the independent education landscape by helping schools, microschools, and independent education providers gain the tools and support needed to build excellent learning environments that are innovative and accessible.
We believe families should have confidence that the educational opportunities available to their children are not only innovative and accessible, but also high-quality. Too often, measures of quality are defined by inputs and systems designed for large public schools. Independent schools, microschools, and education providers need meaningful information, practical support, and a strong network designed to support their unique mission and model.
That is why ARISE is building a new kind of quality infrastructure for the modern education landscape.
Through outcomes-based accreditation, ARISE evaluates what matters most: student achievement, school climate, accessibility, sustainability, and the strength of school leadership. Rather than focusing primarily on inputs and compliance, our approach places greater emphasis on the experiences and outcomes of students, families, educators, and school communities.
ARISE helps schools turn information into action through strategic improvement support, leadership development, professional learning, instructional resources, and a statewide network of shared services providers can access to improve excellence, expand capacity, and enhance accessibility.
Our goal is bigger than accreditation. We are building an independent education ecosystem where quality is understood, excellence is supported, and every student has access to outstanding educational opportunities.

-
Founders Track: Preliminary Accreditation
The Founders Track is designed for start-up microschools and schools launching their first year.
Upon acceptance into the program, Founders are enrolled in the Founders Academy, a resource designed to provide busy start-ups with structured guidance and support educators as they establish the foundations to pursue full accreditation.
At the end of the first year, schools move towards full accreditation as Candidates once they are ready to demonstrate outcomes across ARISE’s core areas.
